Emergency care physician and commercial pilot Dr. Gabe Krenitsky has worked in medical air transport for over twenty five years, and in 2017 he partnered with George Katsikas and Mitch Stanaland to launch One World Rescue. This company offers a solution for travelers who need medical transport home, or who need more advanced tactical rescue.
Board certified in emergency medicine, Dr. Gabriel Krenitsky is uniquely qualified to provide medical command and direction for critical care and long distance air rescue. He completed his residency in 2001 at Metro Health Medical Center in Cleveland Ohio,(the emergency medicine training program for both University Hospitals and the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.) It was here that Dr Krenitsky got his first experience with air medical transport as a life flight doctor with Cleveland Metro Lifeflight. Almost three decades later, Dr. Krenitsky continues to be passionate about air evacuation and critical care medicine, currently serving as the medical director for One World Rescue, Templar Titan, Acute Air Ambulance, and Aitheras Aviation which is currently the only air ambulance provider in the country to have an active safety conformance recognition by the Federal Aviation Administration.
In addition to his extensive medical training and experience, Dr. Krenitsky holds a commercial pilot’s license and a Pilot in Command type rating in the Citation Excel. Because of this, he understands the unique decision-making process that goes into every medical transport. Completing a mission involves successful communication between the flight team and medical team to facilitate safe operations for both the patients and the crews. This approach utilizes independant safe flight, and safe medicine decision making and has resulted in a flawless safety record across the companies he serves. As a result of Dr. Krenitsky and his partners’ commitment and leadership, One World Rescue is an industry leader, and an invaluable asset for its clients and members. A caring professional, Dr. Krenitsky is devoted to helping critically ill individuals see another sunrise.
An explorer at heart, Dr. Krenitsky enjoys travel and flying with his family when he is not serving his valued patients.
